Fun in the Sun with Cousins and Friends

The first thing that Zay always wants to do when he gets to Grandma and Grandpas house, is look at the horses.  

Baño, the white horse, is his favorite to try and call. He makes the kissy face and starts to smooch. Zay gets all excited when Baño lifts up his head and makes horse sounds when he calls him.

"Where's Baño Zay?"

"Ri-dare" - Z

After J went down the slide, he starts yelling at Zay...

"Get in here! Get in here" - J

He's brave and climbs up the slide.

Does his maniacal laugh...

"I'll catch you" - J

"I did it!" - Zay

Taking a pizza and juice break.

Then it's on to the Slip and Slide!

Their Aunt shows them how it's done!

J needed a little push... haha

The Slip and Slide was not for Zay.

On the way home, both boys were conked out. Zay usually never stays asleep when I have to carry him from one place to another... but he did this time. haha. J always has let me, so he was no trouble. 

And after watching the kids with the Aunt and Grandma... I thought I deserved a treat.

Alright, alright... as you have probably noticed... our family blog has gone a little "girly". I just figure that at one time or another, I have to except that there's going to be more Purple and Pink in my life. It's going to be interesting adding another girl into this family. Maybe this is just what I need. A girl in the family to keep me sane. I've see what not having a daughter in the house and only boys does to a mom.... (My crazy Mother hahahaha) All I can say, is that this little girl is going to be spoiled. What with being my parents 1st grand daughter. My Grandma is already telling me things like she needs to go to the store and buy me everything girl she can. haha.
This is going to be a good thing. Can't wait till Lil' Anna gets here.

I'm so thankful for the male role models in my life. Especially my Dad and my Husband. 

Dad-

I love that you're so nice, and sweet. You've looked out for me my hole life. Tried to keep me from turning out to be a Rotten Lil Girl. Even though you always call me "Stinker". I love how you're so nice to mom... I always seem to get text from mom that you gave her flowers or candy or just some out-of-the-normal treat. I'm a lucky girl to have such a great dad like you. I know there must have been days when you couldn't stand me haha.... now that I know how hard raising kids can be... I can just imagine what a handful I must have been. But, I think I turned out alright. I hope I've made you proud. I miss you and mom, and wish we could see you more. Can't wait till you come visit when the new baby arrives. Love you so much Dad! I love you with all my heart. I'm sorry I've been so stressed out and grumpy lately. Really, I pray every night now and ask for help to try and be a better mother and wife the next day. But I am trying. I could make a list of everything I love about you, but I don't think I have enough time to... before we have to go to church. So, I'm just going to tell you I LOVE YOU, even though I hope you already know that I do. With all my heart. You're the one for me. And I don't think I'd survive without you here to love me back. My Little Computer Guy

Why couldn't they have been this good all day.

I don't even want to start to blog all that has happened today. 

I got way too stressed out, kinda took it out on my kids... 

and I even put Zoey on craigslist. 

haha

Already have someone interested in her. 

I'm not sure if I'm even serious about wanting to get rid of her.

But that's how frustrated I was today. 

I should have known that today was going to be a "crappy" day because yesterday was such a good one.

(That's more literal than you'd think)

But that's how things normally go around here. Good one day, then you can expect the next day to be bad.

Breakfast for Dinner. Don't know why I've never done this before.

Waffles, Bacon, and Toast

And again... lol... my first time making waffles. 

I'm not one to pat myself on the back all the time... but I think I did a pretty good job at being a Mom today.

Well... I don't want to say I have a reason to be kind of a slacker... (being pregnant, having 2 kids 3 and under, and a broken husband... it can wear you out so fast)... cause I can't really afford to. Need to step it up a little bit and put on my Wonder Women outfit and get things done. Ha ha.

All I'm saying is that compared to the me a few weeks ago, I think I'm doing better.

Dishes are done. The house is clean, most of the time. I'm caught up on laundry. I've been making better meals like I use to before all this Leg/Pregnancy/Moving into a New House thing started.

And today...

Zay got up at 6am this morning. And normally I just slum around and beg him to watch a movie as I try and get a little bit more sleep on the couch while he watches it. And at the same time... pray that J wants to sleep in that morning. Ha Ha.

But...

I made a pretty good breakfast.

Didn't get frustrated with the boys that much.

Made BLTs for lunch. Doritos, and yogurt too.

Was going to try and do something simple for dinner. Tomato soup and grill cheese sandwiches. But ended up not having the cheese for it. So I remembered we had chicken breasts, so I grilled them up.

They turned out pretty good. And this was only my 2nd time grilling Ha Ha.

Was planning on making this Praline Key Lime Pie tomorrow, but I wanted to be able to share it with another family... but they're gone for the weekend. So I'll just have to wait, cause I don't think my little family will eat it all. I'll try and remember to take a pic of the one that I make. I'm excited because it says there is a almond, or some kind of other nut and caramel layer in between the crust and the key lime.

So, Father's Day is coming up. This morning I sent off my Dad's stuff. I think he's going to like it. The boys and I did some homemade cards with some Craft Scrapbook Paper my friend Melissa gave to me. She's the best. 

Today, not sure what we're going to do. Maybe invite the lil cousins over for a swim in the pool. I really need to get the kids out of the house. I think I'm giving them Cabin Fever. It's hard for me to leave the house now. Because Darren needs me home to help him... and going to the store or anywhere public is way tough with J and Z. Because their Dad has been home, and they cant get to him, they're going a little crazy. Darren can't have them jumping on him and wrestling him... and they just miss him. 

Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Well, it will all pass right? I hope so. Because it's only going to get more crazy when we add 1 new little baby girl to the mix. 

The boys came out of their room this morning with lil blue water guns. 

J: Mom, mom, mom, there are too many bad guys in our room!

Mom: Well then you better go get them all.

J: Alright. Come on Zac, lets go get all those bad guys!

What I hear when they run down the hall and into their room:

We're going to get you bad guys!

Zac, don't shoot me! Shoot those monkeys!

Goodbye bad guys.

(sung to the tune of the taunting song, ne-ner-ne-ner-ne-ner)....

My boys

We had Grandma over for dinner last night. Steak and Potatoes. And I totally cooked 

the best steak on the grill I've ever done. I think I'm even going to have the leftover meat

for breakfast... teehe

O ya, and Zay kept walking around like that all night haha. 

I tried to pile as many bubbles on J's head for a pic. I'm surprised he let me do it. 

He tends to weird out when I do things like that. 

Zay Started doing this... pooring water on his head and then freaking out. It was  pretty funny.

Just put my two Love Loves to sleep. They just love these Easter Chicks that their Great Grandmother gave them. They like to cuddle them when I read them the book "Lulla-by Little One" at bedtime.

These guys are just getting way too big! I love my boys so much.

Hello!
It's been forever since I've been able to blog. I was looking at my last entry and it seems like a lifetime ago that we moved from Rexburg. Needless to say, we don't have internet and when we did, I was too baby sick to do anything.
There has been a ton of stuff happen to us between moving to Nevada and now.
We stayed with the in-laws while we waited for a house to approve.
In January alone:
 D broke his leg....
I found out that I was pregnant (with what we would find out to be a GIRL).....
And our house (that needed a ton of work) approved, so we were able to move in.
Ugh lol
And now... we are moved into our new house. We love it here.
D had to go back into surgery for his leg because it wasn't healing right... so now he's down again. It took him 5 moths to get where he was and then we find out that he has to do it all over again. But at least we know that this time he will definitely get better.
We decided to name the new baby Anna Lynn
So for right now, I'm pregnant... watching over my two boys, a hurt husband, a 1 year old barking dog, and a fish named spike. All I can say is Thank Goodness for Family, Friends, and our wonderful Church Ward.

I have a ton of pictures so I'm just going to post some recent ones...as much I have the patience to anyways lol.
